CIC Newsletter Volume 9 – The Pulse of Our Graduates

Today than ever, there are new alternative workplace strategies (AWS) which make it more pressing for global companies to align  organizations  with the trends.  The Class 2012 of Concordia Global in Philippines is a mix of professionals  wanting to make a change in their  life patterns. They have already earned college degrees  in various fields such as education, business, accountancy, management and economics and yet have chosen to  enrol  at Concordia International College – Philippines. Below are some of their messages.
 

Elizabeth Ann Gutierrez (Teacher)….. “ I enrolled in TESOL and TEC because I wanted to enhance my teaching skills. I liked best in the course are the  strategies and topics taught through on line. My wish for CIC is to move towards a vision of innovation and higher accomplishments that would cater to students’ needs.”
 

Lourdes Ronidel (Office of the  Urban Poor, Philippines)..… “I enrolled  in Concordia-Phils  to enrich myself in English communication proficiency. Learning the modules  is very convenient because it can fit in my very busy schedules. The course helped me get updated on the latest methodology in teaching English to non-English speakers”.
 

Remia Ricabar (Head-Public School, Department of Education ) … “What I like best in the course are the quizzes and assignments. I was motivated to  learn English more and deeper. I wish there will be more students to enrol in all the courses being offered by Concordia in the Philippines. I wish the best for Concordia International College – Philippines”. 

Jeceryl Galenzoga (English Tutor of Korean Students) …  “I enrolled at Concordia TESOL/TEC programs to improve my teaching skills since I am currently doing tutorial for Korean students. I find that the TESOL/TEC modules are systematically discussed, have been useful as the  learnings are challenging and interesting as well. I am confident that through the CIC short courses there will be more competent and productive professionals in the Philippines.”

Sharmaine Esteban (University Graduate in Education)… “ I enrolled in TESOL/TEC to prepare me for the strategies in teaching. The online books and quizzes are what  I liked most. The  video presentation and the  discussion  enhanced my skills in classroom management.”

Khristine Bundal (Employee in Makati City, University Graduate of Financial Management)… “ I enrolled in TESOL/TEC as a refresher course.  English is used anywhere in the globe. The  videos  in the modules are interesting and easy to follow . It is user friendly. I wish for Concordia to grow bigger and to have more graduates  in the Philippines. Definitely,  I will recommend these programs to all of my friends.”
