On September 1, 2012, Concordia International College in the Philippines never looked so good. Concordia-Philippines successfully held its second Commencement Ceremonies with its theme “Raising CIC ‘s Bar of Excellence”. The Function Room of the Tropicana Suites in Manila came alive as the 2012 Graduates in high spirit received their diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, TEC (Teaching English to Children) and Certificate Course in Business Communication leading to the Diploma in Business and Development for professionals.
The ceremony was on target with the Entrance of Colors led by Marshall Joed Lachica himself a TESOL/TEC graduate and a regular ESL teacher (English as a Second Language ) of Concordia-Philippines. The parade of the CIC administrative staff ,composed of its Registrar Daphne Estanislao, Marketing Head Zarah de Vera, VP Operations Marisen Jerusalem and its President, Dr. Violeta formally signalled the start of the ceremony. The highlight of the event is the speech of Dr. Lilian Enriquez of the Commission of Higher Education, National Capital Region, as its honoured Guest and Commencement Speaker who gave prestige to the affair.
