Moving Forward with Marketing
Marketing Representatives were employed by the Board and the College Marketing Plan was developed to cover a broad range of marketing strategies, including the development of the website. Ms. Pearl Bengullo, concurrent Marketing Director and Human Resource Department (HRD) Head, was appointed to do the task. At the beginning of September and in the next few months, she will liaise with the different marketing representatives and partner schools to establish the College brand (its look and feel) with the primary purpose of attracting enrolments for 2011. With Pearl taking the lead to successfully establish the College brand in the Philippine market are Zarah de Vera and Chris Omaña, senior marketing professionals and Aldrin Reyes, junior marketing professional.
Being a start up organization necessitated an extensive program on advertising and branding. Zarah and Chris joined forces in preparing the graphic design work in a wide range of marketing activities. Their creativity and attention to detail have set a standard in featuring the Concordia International College program offerings. Their plan on extensive advertising activities complemented the concurrent campaign to increase enrolment. These included local newspaper, tarpaulins for billboards, magazines, flyers and brochures
An extensive program of presentations and networking functions, attended by the CEO and President, was also conducted to reach the B to C (Business to Customer) and B to B (Business to Business) markets. This strategy brings information to as many members of the community as possible regarding the structure of the College and the benefits and opportunities available to students and employers.
