Concordia Language Center (CLC) in Vietnam holds a graduation ceremony on June 17, 2022. The upcoming graduation ceremony will host the ambassador from the consulate of the Philippines in Vietnam and professor JohnPaul Kim from Concordia International University.
CLC Vietnam is teaching programs from K-12 to the international community, including Vietnam, Philippines, India, Singapore, Britain, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, and America in Ho Chi Minh. The diverse student community allows for growth and understanding of international standards on etiquette, communication, thinking, and knowledge. Many students who graduated from CLC Vietnam are currently studying or on their way to universities worldwide. Some of these are the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, University of Lethbridge, Monash University, Anglia Ruskin University, University of Bolton, Calvin University, and Hongik University.
CLC Vietnam also successfully implemented the Wondafl Reading program into their English academic studies for all ages. Students who took the Wondafl program have improved their abilities in Comprehension, Pronunciation, critical thinking, grammar and vocabulary on a significant level. Students’ average Lexile growth was about 100-200 per month, and their exponential growth in reading habits fostered a new discipline of patience and resilience in their character.
Over the past six months, CLC Vietnam is also implementing the OSSD curriculum from Ontario Province, Canada, with professor JohnPaul Kim’s guidance. OSSD will enable a smoother transition to higher education globally with its internationally recognized education and curriculum standards.
