Some travel attractions in Korea
Korea offers a wealth of what travelers want in their destination. It has excellent tourism infrastructure, such as long history, wonderful culture, tasty food, and good people. It is also a country of contrasts, with tourist attractions ranging from ancient Buddhist temples to skyscrapers. Furthermore, South Korea has part of the military border between the two Koreas. Here are some of the best tourism spots that travelers can enjoy in Korea.
The first place is Changdeokgung Palace. This palace has always been the preferred palace of the loyal family. This building is complex and can be used for different purposes. People can visit and spend time in the 78-acre palace gardens located behind the palace. It is full of roads, green spaces, towers, and streams, so people can enjoy its beautiful scenery.
The second place is Busan. Busan is the second-largest city in Korea and has beautiful beaches and resorts along the coast. It boasts of its rich culture and deep history. If people visit Beomeosa Temple and Gamecheon Hill Village, they can feel the atmosphere of a European village-like Santorini. Seafood lovers can also visit Jagalchi Market, the largest commercial seafood market in Korea, and eat plenty of seafood.
The third place is Jeonju. This is a historic city that was once the spiritual capital of the Joseon Dynasty. Along with the Hanok Village, many ancient temples and shrines are located here. These hanoks have been maintained for a long time so that travelers can feel what life was like in ancient Korea.
The last tourist attraction is Seoul Tower. If travelers visit Seoul, they must visit Seoul’s iconic former observatory. The tower is in a very high position with an elevation of almost 500m above sea level. Before visiting this tower, people can first take a tour of the mountain park around the tower to appreciate the dual charm of nature and the city.
Why do Koreans travel?
Modern Koreans dream of traveling because they are under a lot of stress from work or study and are trapped in their busy daily lives. Koreans can achieve a lot through travel. Once they travel, they can challenge themselves. Many people are always craving something interesting and different. Travel is the ideal activity to test themselves. This pushes people to their limits and pushes them out of their comfort zones. Being exposed to new places, people, and experiences can help them see how resourceful they are. When people overcome challenges, they can gain joy and energy about the future.
Moreover, they can learn through travel. They want to leave because they want to experience unfamiliar things and situations and acquire new skills and knowledge. Seeing the whole world can be more educational than a typical class can. Every destination has something unique for travelers to learn, and immersing themselves in a completely different world is the best learning experience.
Next, travel can relax and rejuvenate people. Everyone can benefit from taking a break in general after completing work. A relaxing vacation will be necessary for refreshing themselves. Comfortable natural surroundings and good weather are common factors for R&R-focused travel. However, people have different opinions on a perfectly rejuvenating vacation, so it is better to choose the place they want to visit.
Some transport ways for Koreans to travel
Korean transportation is the most modern and environmentally friendly transportation in the world. Korea is intertwined with an extensive network of railways, highways, bus routes, and air routes, providing the ideal conditions for exploring wonderful landscapes.
First, there are many cities and intercity buses in Korea, all of which have specific systems for travel. The most convenient way to use these buses or other means of transportation is to purchase a T-money transportation card. This card can be recharged at various convenience stores and subway stations.
Next, it is the most extensive subway system in the world. Several lines connect the metropolitan area, making it convenient for millions of people. Also, because the interval between trains is short, people in the metropolitan area can arrive quickly when they go to work, and areas are described and identified through these subway stations.
Korea also has Incheon International Airport, one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. From 2006 to 2010, this airport was rated as the best airport in the world by the International Airports Council. The airport has the Korean Culture Museum and is not only foreigner-friendly but also offers a wide range of amenities to suit the needs of all travelers. With an extensive airport shuttle system serving all parts of Seoul and most suburbs, the airport makes travel to and from Korea convenient.
Conclusion
Many Koreans like to travel during their break time. For these people, Korea has various tourist attractions and convenient means of transportation. By visiting great places and building memories, people can develop and motivate their lives. Travel needs to be continuously taken care of and developed for a more vibrant and positive future.
