Latest Update
Program Offerings
For this new school year, Concordia introduced a set of programs as part of the college’s third year of operation. The programs include 1st-2nd year AB English Language, program coordinated by Rosemary Basbas, MAEd, PhD; 1st-2nd year BS Tourism Management, program coordinated by Shirley H. Edwin, MBA; 1st-3rd year BS Accounting Technology, program coordinated by Gregorio F. Roxas, CPA, MBA; and 1st-3rd year BS Entrepreneurship, program coordinated by Juliet D. Hadsan, MBA. These courses are now available to individuals who are aspiring to pursue careers in the ever-developing fields of education, tourism, accounting, and/or business.
Increased Number of Students and Perks
Aside from the increase in the number of our programs, another achievement the Concordia organization is glad about is that we also now have a total of 77 enrollees, which is 140 percent higher than the previous school year’s total of 32 students. Those 77 students have been awarded full scholarships under the Concordia Live Your Dreams Scholarship program. As recipients of the scholarship, the students were given an opportunity to work as student assistants, and need not pay for anything other than the miscellaneous fees. Twenty-eight (28) of them are currently enjoying free accommodation in our College Dormitory, where they are also served free lunch and dinner.
Yet the benefits do not end there, this year, local college students also get to receive a set of school uniform as well as a set of PE uniform, and they get to access free transportation service at the designated pick-up and drop-off points.
Closing Remarks
All these developments and benefits are woven into Concordia’s vision of providing excellent education in a global setting and mission to provide students with opportunities to be free from poverty through education. Here at Concordia, we have so much more to look forward to, for succeeding phases of our college’s growth and success are well underway.
