The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Artificial Intelligence

“Collaboration with artificial intelligence has become a reality, not a fantasy.”

The Fourth Industrial Revolution refers to the next generation led by artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, robot technology, drones, self-driving cars, and virtual reality (VR). The Forth Industrial Revolution became an issue in June 2016 when Klaus Schwab, chairman of the forum, first used it at the ‘Davos Forum’ in Switzerland. At the time, Schwab said that the Fourth Industrial Revolution will be the driving force behind the renewal of order around the world.”

Following the Third Industrial Revolution led by the computer networking, information and automation production system in 1969, the Fourth Industrial Revolution refers to an industrial change that is expected to allow automatic and intelligent control of objects through robots and artificial intelligence (AI). Artificial intelligence is already being used in various ways in business and life, including translation, product recommendation, voice assistant, self-driving car, video reading, law, and finance.

In 2016, the world’s most famous professional ‘Go game’ player Lee Se-Dol and artificial intelligence ‘Alphago’ made big news. for their fighting between artificial intelligence and humans. It was a serious issue among people who were curious and felt a little uncomfortable with artificial intelligence. ‘Alpha Go’ won Lee Se-dol, and it was surprising and shocking. Artificial intelligence will continue to expand its reach. Collaboration with artificial intelligence in the working place has become a reality, not a fantasy.
