K-Beauty Diversification and LED Mask

“K-beauty is preparing for the new trend of skin care”.

K – Beauty has focused on basic skin care products such as serums, white creams, eye creams, lotions and mask packs. They were attractive for their pure ingredients, beautiful packaging and huge influence of K-Culture.

According to the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institution, Korean cosmetics export was projected to be above $6 billion by the end of 2019. The China and Hong Kong markets account for more than 67% of all export. K-beauty is on the top place in duty-free retail with Chinese tourists, successfully attacking the china market: one of the biggest beauty markets in the world. Now, Korean cosmetic companies have accomplished their intended goals and are preparing for product diversification to meet the trends of the skin care industry.

2019.05, Seoul COSMOPROF 2019 was held. In addition to existing goods, many cosmetic brands released skin care LED masks, in which visitors were interested. The beauty industry is changing, and consumers want new and innovative skin care products beyond the pure and basic skin cream products.

Among many different brands, Pure Plan got attention with their LED Mask. ‘Pure Plan’ has started aiming at overseas markets such as the U.S., Japan, China. Pure Plan is now in the online channels and offline of ‘Sharaf DG Dubai’, a distribution store in the Middle East.

Pure Plan has achieved 100% of its fund-raising goal in just 30 seconds after it opened on the crowdfunding platform “Wadis. It is drawing attention from consumers for its` cost-effective product in the high-priced LED mask market. Their product can treat both the face and neck at the same time with one product. The product provides LED count and near-infrared wavelength function as high-end brand LED masks, while it is considered a hot home care item in Korea at a reasonable price. In addition, safety was demonstrated at a domestic-based factory that received ISO13485, the medical quality management system, for the first time in Korea’s LED mask history, It boasts of its comfortable and ergonomic design, considering the physical sizes of adult men and women.

Pure Plan will release a light version of the turtle neck corrector, which will help ease turtle neck symptoms among modern people thanks to the growth of LED masks. Pure Plan’s Nexus Porter is a product that complements the shortcomings of the existing turtle neck brace, and has already raised 140 million won in funding through the nation’s largest crowdfunding platform “Wadis” based on its reasonable price, convenient use and modern design
