CIC Newsletter Volume 4 – CIC-PHILIPPINES PARTNERS WITH SOHAE COLLEGE-KOREA

Last January 17, 2012, Sohae College based in Korea became CIC- Philippines’ academic
partner to signal a promising start in this New Year 2012.

CIC-Philippines led the Signing of the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding)among CIC, College of the
Holy Spirit – Manila and Sohae College. Each College was represented by their respective College
Presidents : Dr. Violeta Jerusalem (forCIC-Phils), Mr.Yong Seoung Lee (for Sohae College) and
Dr. Felina Young for CHS Manila who led the MOU signing. The event was also witnessed by several
representatives from the three Colleges.

Sohae College has been operating for 38 years in Korea and this new partnership promises to enhance
the relationship among the three institutions through the interchange of their academic, cultural, and
professional expertise and capabilities.

As Dr. Violeta Jerusalem (CIC-Philippines President) aptly puts it “……this is only the beginning”.
