On March 31st, 2022, Concordia International University (CIU) and Cloud Nine College (CNC) hosted a job seminar with David Thompson Resort for all Co-Op students. CIU and CNC have recently partnered with David Thompson resort to offer a valuable work opportunity to their students under coop programs.
David Thompson Resorts are located nearby the popular tourist towns in Canada, such as the Rocky Mountains, Lake Louise, and the Columbia icefields. They offer family-friendly accommodations（hotels, cabins, and RV rentals）for people to explore the beautiful scenery of Canadian nature. Other amenities include campgrounds, playgrounds, free Wi-Fi, restaurants, laundry facilities, etc. The resort welcomes visitors from overseas; besides the variety of amenities that the resort can offer, they also provide special events such as music festivals and wedding packages.
David Thompson Resort is open from May 1st, 2022, to September 30th, 2022, for a seasonal period due to the weather condition. They offer a meaningful job experience for seasonal/full-time positions in the hospitality industry.
The students of CNC and CIU were offered an insight information into the resort and several positions that are suitable for Coop students including the following:

- Store Clerk
- Restaurant Dish Washer
