As part of the school’s initiative to take part in students’ learning journey on the onset, Cloud Nine College held an orientation for its new students in-person on February 4, 2022. In careful adherence to the protocols of the British Columbia government, CNC strictly implemented wearing of masks on campus and social distancing for in-person assembly. The participants of the said session are enrolled in the CNC programs, including Hotel and Restaurant Management Co-op Certificate, International Business and Trade Management Co-op Diploma, Hotel and Restaurant Management Co-op Diploma, and Professional Sales Co-op Certificate programs.
CNC highlighted the importance of strict compliance to COVID protocols while ensuring quality education and safe space for learners and the rest of the CNC community. While protocols are in place, CNC ensures that the students find safety and comfort by providing them with a homey and cozy atmosphere.
The thoughtful exchange was one of the many scheduled activities of the college for the term to ensure clarity of information and warm welcome of students to the campus – their second home while they are away from their home countries. The February intake commenced on February 7 and will end by April 15, 2022. Classes are held in person every Monday and Tuesday.
