Chonnam National University President Jung Sung-taek meets with Serbian Ambassador to Korea

President Jung Sung-taek of Chonnam National University received a visit from the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Serbia Nemanja Grbic at the reception room of the university headquarters on April 8 and talked about international exchanges. 

At the meeting, the Serbian ambassador introduced Serbia and Kragujevac University and showed an active stance on exchanges with Chonnam National University. 

President Jung Sung-taek expressed his gratitude for visiting Chonnam National University and responded positively to the promotion of sisterhood between Chonnam National University and Kragujevac University. 

The University of Kragujevac is a public university located in the city of Kragujevac, the fourth largest city in Serbia, and is the oldest and largest university in Serbia.

Serbia, officially the Republic of Serbia, is a landlocked country at the crossroads of Southeast and Central Europe, located in the Balkans and the Pannonian Plain. It borders Hungary to the north, Romania to the northeast, Bulgaria to the southeast, North Macedonia to the south, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, and Montenegro to the southwest. Its capital Belgrade is also the largest city.
