At the dawn of the year 2024, I would like to extend my best wishes to the Korean authorities, the Korean people, the local press, and especially to the Journal of Diplomacy and its distinguished readers.
I take this opportunity to rejoice in the excellent and amicable relations between the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and the Republic of Korea. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in July 1961, my country has proudly been the first African state to establish diplomatic ties with the Republic of Korea.
For this, I express my profound admiration and renew my deep gratitude to the authorities of both nations, who spare no effort to ensure the success of this cooperation and the strengthening of these ties.
To our partners and all those actively contributing to the development of Côte d’Ivoire, I assure them of my complete availability, with the support of the Embassy staff, to work daily to facilitate administrative procedures and improve Embassy services. The goal is to make the mission entrusted to me by Ivorian authorities a crucible for mutually beneficial high-level bilateral relations between our two countries.
Wishing you a prosperous and fruitful year in 2024.
