Cloud Nine College proudly celebrated the graduation of ESL students on March 2, 2023. After completing a six-month English learning programme, each student is now ready to move on to the next step in achieving their academic goals.
The ceremony was held at the campus and each student received a certificate and words of encouragement from the teachers.
The graduates also prepared gifts and a heartfelt letter of gratitude for the professors, which moved them to tears. We all indulged in some food and chocolate cake after the certificates were given out, and the students shared some of their experiences from their coursework.
Most of the CNC students study general English and IELTS preparation courses for six months before beginning a certificate or diploma programme. As all English learners are aware, improving your IELTS score by 0.5 or 1.0 requires a lot of work and effort.
Those successful ESL graduates are good ambassadors for our school. It was wonderful to see students celebrating their accomplishments with their instructors. Congratulations to all the students on their hard work and their ability to improve their English communication in imaginative and creative ways.

ESL Program Overview
Cloud Nine College ESL programs provide students the opportunity to build the essential skills for communication and comprehension in English as well as provide strategies for test-taking and problem-solving. From B1- C1, students will learn more about academic English to prepare them for the University pathway programs, IELTS test preparation or English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs.

IELTS Preparation
If you are a non-native speaker of English who intends to study or train in English, this comprehensive test of English language proficiency is designed to assess your English language proficiency. IELTS offers two versions of the test: Academic or General Training.
The Academic test is required by Canadian universities for candidates planning to apply for admission to a degree program. The General Training test is suitable for candidates planning to apply for Canadian immigration, apply for work experience, or undertake non-academic training.
