Trinity Academy

On November 1st, Concordia collaborated with Trinity to create a new school platform known as Trinity Academy which offers elementary, middle, and high school level courses. The purpose of this institution is to inspire students to develop a passion for learning. Through academic excellence, students will have the ability to make a positive impact in their communities for a brighter tomorrow.

CEO David Kang from Concordia International University and Yoon-jae Jang from Trinity Academy met on this day to commemorate the collaboration between their platforms to create this new program that allows students a direct path from high school to higher education.

The program requires the completion of three big requirements. One requirement is the completion of 30 credits: 18 required courses and 12 elective courses. However, if you attended a previous high school, some credits can be transferrable towards the diploma. The second big requirement is the Provincial Literature Exam, an online state literature exam; the test is pass or fail. Our staff here at Concordia can help students study for this exam. The last of the three is 40 hours of community service, this includes things such as volunteer activities and school events. Students that are studying abroad can recognize their community service by submitting a certificate of completion for volunteer work as proof.

The two executives believe in the power of education, the foundation for a brighter future. Trinity Academy aims to foster global talents with creative, logical, and critical-thinking skills by providing continuous excellent education in a global environment. With a good education, students have the potential to change the world for the better.
