The healthcare platform company known as Solve.Care has recently announced their newest initiative, the Care.School program. Care.Schools is the result of a collaboration between Solve.Care and Concordia International University. This online education program supplements Ukrainian standard education and allows students to earn a dual high school diploma from both Ukraine and Canada. After completing the program and obtaining the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, students may apply to study at any university in the USA, UK, Canada, all English-speaking commonwealth, and many other universities across the globe.
The Care.School program has been implemented into two cities, Truskavets and Borislav. It embraces a more holistic approach to education and offers additional interactive courses that are free for the students and are sponsored by Solve.Care. The learning process utilizes an educational book database called myON and is overseen by local coordinators that are held in IT.Labs provided by Solve.Care. The children study for 2 hours daily. The educational material is held in books that cover subjects such as reading, mathematics, English, science, social studies, and also some electives that contain interactive exercises. There is also a wide range of contents for students to look at within the media library to contribute to the improvement of their English speaking skills.
Volunteers of the Solve.Care IT company have been generous enough as to provide arranged temporary stay of forced migrants, household appliances, and delivered humanitarian goods. They also provided computers and tablets, which the students use now to study at the International Distance School. The reason for this partnership between Concordia and Solve.Care is because we wish to bring world-class educational opportunities to these students that weren’t available even before the war.
