Cloud Nine College (“CNC”) is offering a safety certificate training program to the students enrolled in Hotel and Restaurant Management Certificate/Diploma and their employees. As a college, safety plays a crucial role on campus. Therefore CNC continuously assures a safe environment for the students and the staff.
The following courses are offered to the students and employees at CNC:
- Foundation of Workplace Safety -Offered by Go2hr
This course is accessible fully online, especially for young workers without experience. It provides comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety and health in the BC tourism and hospitality industry. It gives the main idea of consciousness of security in any workplace.
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C – Offered by Canadian Red Cross
This hands-on and comprehensive training course prepares individuals to act in self-defense and rescue people in an emergency. Self-paced online module courses deliver the course before the 8 hours of the in-person practical skills training session. It is designed to develop confidence and consciousness for life-threatening scenarios to minor accidents that could happen in any situation.
These safety training programs can teach students and employees how to protect themselves from accidents and injuries, saving someone’s life in unexpected situations. The safety certifications are in place to be conscious of the risks and hazards in everyday life, and it can be the life skills that learners can maintain in the long run. CNC assures everyone in the community feels safe by participating in those co-comprehensive raining courses to feel confident about taking action in an emergency. Safety comes first for all the students and staff; therefore, as a college CNC, encouraged to take these valuable certifications that can change someone’s life.
