Last May 14th, 2017 BC NDP held a primary election for Burnaby-Lougheed constituency area at the BC NDP Main Office. Adjunct Professor Joseph Lee from Concordia International University and Dr. Chris Park from Concordia International University participated as an emcee in the event. Further participants include MLA Jane Shin, MLA Raj Chouhan, city councilor Anne Kang, Burnaby-Lougheed NDP President Glen Porter, and many others. BC NDP Canvassers in key constituencies was going door to door to collect signatures on petition in support of John Horgan’s announcement that a BC NDP government will raise the minimum wage to $15/hour on this particular day.
