Concordia International University Represents Masaryk University at EHEF 2017
On October 18, 2017, over a thousand participants came to witness and take part in the 2017 European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) at the Grand Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza.
At the event, the participants – who were composed of students, parents, professors and researchers – had access to educational information of the 24 universities and colleges from the United Kingdom and nine member states of the European Union, namely Czech Republic, France, Denmark, Hungary, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Belgium.
Other than the featured higher education institutions, representatives of the participating European countries’ embassies were also in attendance to help answer questions relating to mobility and studying in their countries and deputy ambassadors led their country presentations held at the Shang Cineplex, Cinema 4.
Concordia International University was chosen by Masaryk University from Brno, Czech Republic, to represent them at the event. Masaryk University featured their courses of medicine and dentistry but also offered other courses such as social sciences, law, information technology courses, and several business courses. The Czech Republic delegation was headed by Deputy Ambassador Jana Peterkova, and Ambassador Jaroslav Olsa was also there to provide support.
In January 2018, Concordia International University will start working with Masaryk University as a provider of the preparatory courses for the said university’s medicine and dentistry courses.
