On December 9th to 11th, Concordia International University held its very first Concordia Mini Overseas Education Fair at Seoul COEX, South Korea. It was a wonderful opportunity for international education institutions to meet with potential Korean students graduating from high school and college, and working people looking to upgrade their educational credentials, as this fair’s main purpose was to introduce progression pathway programs.
Now, it would not have been called a fair if Concordia International University had been the only educational institution at the event. It was an ideal event for institutions from other countries to participate in the said event. Thus, our very own Concordia Dean for International Education Program, Mr. Hyomin Im, invited to the event some Concordia partner schools from Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, the USA, the Philippines, and Canada: BHMS (Business Hotel Management School), PSB Academy, SP Jain, MAGES Design School, Australia College Program, Everett Community College, Canada College Program, Concordia Overseas Education, HELP Institute, and Best Cella Institute.
During the event, there was a wide range of presentations, one-on-one meetings, and interviews, and there were also a lot of higher education courses to choose from: business management, tourism and hospitality, gaming and game design, animation, English and education, engineering, and so much more.
The education fair turned out to be pretty successful, as it attracted a huge number of interested people who were considering to pursue their studies overseas, where they could be surrounded by an international environment and community. It was just one of the many events that Concordia International University has on its calendar, and we are looking forward to many more education fairs at other places in other countries in 2017.
