Concordia visits Kaplan Singapore

On August 25, 2016, Concordia’s representation had a wonderful lunch meeting with Kaplan Singapore’s representatives composed of June Lou, Country Manager of International Recruitment, and James Kong, Assistant Director of International Recruitment and Services.

Kaplan Singapore offer courses in business and management, communication and media, engineering, tourism and hospitality management, information technology, nursing and allied health, and humanities and social sciences. They also offer professional qualifications in accountancy and finance through Kaplan Financial, a department of Kaplan Learning Institute (KLI). As Concordia International University has business courses, it would like to form a pathway program partnership with them to allow the students to have more options with regard to awarding institutions and study locations.

Kaplan Singapore boasts of its over 30,000 learners from more than 30 countries worldwide. For many of the learners, the school is not only a place to learn but also a way for them to form a network with Asia Pacific’s most promising talents. In terms of awards and certifications, Kaplan Singapore was ranked as the number Preferred Private Education Institution by JobsCentral, which is Singapore’s leading online job portal in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014, was awarded as one of the Top 3 Best Private Schools in Singapore from 2009 to 2016, and has been recognized as Singapore Platinum Approved Provider by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) awards. Just like the other schools that Concordia International University visited in Singapore, Kaplan is also EduTrust certified.
