Concordia visits Mages in Singapore

What’s up?

Game design and animation are two of the most interesting, exciting, and competitive careers in the world, and Concordia International University would like to offer these courses through a partnership with Mages Institute of Excellence, which is a Singapore-based private education institution that offers excellent tertiary level teaching and skill set development for aspiring game designers and animators.

On August 25, 2016, Concordia International University Vice President, had a wonderful discussion with Mages officials, namely Director and Co-Founder Ravi Bahl and Professor Rajesh, and attend their fabulous students’ showcase on the following day.

Why pursue a partnership with Mages?

Mages takes pride in their EduTrust Certification granted by Council for Private Education (CPE), a statutory board established to regulate the private education industry in Singapore, and they have achieved these amazing certifications through their successful delivery of high-quality teaching and impeccable teaching infrastructure, which they continue to invest in to provide better education and training to their students.

Their teaching staff is composed of competent video game and animation industry professionals who have been very vital in giving their students a chance to get first-hand industry experience during the time that they are in the process of getting their degrees.

Why is this important for Concordia?

In order to meet the growing demand for courses in video game design and animation, we, at Concordia, would love to work hand in hand with an institution that is capable of providing the highest possible quality of teaching and learning for all learners. We are offering the degree’s first year to ready the students for advanced units and subjects, which they will take in their second year at Mages. Through this approach, the degrees will be more affordable for the students and they will have an opportunity to have different learning environments.
