PRIDE by Mages

Mages Institute of Excellence, the best game design and animation institute in Singapore, held their 2016 Students’ Showcase titled PRIDE on the 26th of August 2016 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm at their campus along Orchard Road, Orchard Central. It was attended by Concordia College of Benguet’s President and was invited as part of the partnership between Mages and Concordia. The event, whose main purpose was to exhibit the students’ works and later award the students’ graduation certificates, started with the registration process followed by the presentation and dinner at 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm respectively.

The presentation commenced with a wonderful welcome note from the Director and Co-Founder of Mages, Mr. Ravi Bahl, who then introduced the event’s guest of honor and keynote speaker, Prof. Ang Kok Keng, from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Prof. Ang Kok Keng delivered an engagingspeech, congratulated the Mages and its students for their excellence and creativity, and wished them a lot more success in their future endeavors.

Kicking off the actual showcase of animations and games made by the students was a demo reel of PRIDE 2016, which was presented by Prof. Rajesh.

After the exciting and impressive demonstration of the students’ applications and movies, Mr. Ravi Bahl and Prof. Ang went back on stage to talk about PRIDE Magazine Vol. 2. Shortly thereafter, the program proceeded with the IMAGENIUS Prize Presentation and student awards led once again by Prof. Ang.

Mages CEO & Co-Founder Ms. Neeru Bahl joined Prof. Ang for the awarding of graduation certificates and went on to conclude the program with a strong and encouraging closing note.
