On March 22, 2018, Concordia International University Dean, Hyomin Im, had a meeting with My Global World (MGW) Group CEO, Martin Nielsen, and Academic Head, Lawrence Rubly, at Concordia’s Ortigas office.
Under the umbrella of My Global World Group are different schools, namely, the International Business Academy of Switzerland (IBAS), the Swiss School of Business and Technology (SBST), and the International Business School of Scandinavia (IBSS). The meeting mainly revolved on the International Business Academy of Switzerland, which is based in Zurich, Switzerland.
IBAS offers both in-campus and full online courses. Being in one of the centers of commerce in Switzerland, IBAS has its students well surrounded with Zurich residents, international business people, and tourists. This means that there are a lot more job opportunities waiting for its on-site students.
As for the online method, online students can still have access to the teaching that on-site students get, as IBAS live-feeds its actual classroom sessions through Facebook to give all its students access to the same quality of teaching and learning and the chance to be connected to other students.
The representatives of Concordia International University and My World Group will have see each other again soon to show their campuses and facilities to each other and to further discuss a potential academic partnership.
