Concordia International College in partnership with the Pinoy Guro EU – Association of Filipino Teachers in Europe now offers Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages to the Filipino community in Milan, Italy. Starting February 7, 2015, 16 students from the Filipino community have been undergoing TESOL classes under Concordia International College based in Canada.

Responding to the needs of the Filipino community for higher education, they can now pursue a degree in their own pace through open distance learning instruction. The above-mentioned course was opened to the Filipino community in Italy to give them opportunity to finish their studies even there is no exclusive school for Filipinos in the said country.

Hailing from Canada, Concordia International College now foresees an international expansion with regards to distant education programs, to keep pace with working people and interested applicants from other parts of the world. Opening its frontiers in Milan and Rome Italy, Concordia International College now offers a wide array of course which would allow students to take courses and study online, saving time, transport costs and other expenses.

Other courses and subjects are open including Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, along with other baccalaureate and graduate degree programs. Students can now study online especially if they are hindered by distance and they don’t have time to attend formal education. This is ideal for working students and others who want to pursue a degree but find difficulties in attending formal schooling, especially language barrier challenged expatriates and persons with disabilities.
