On February 24th to 27th, Cloud Nine College hosted Co-op trial classes before starting our new Co-op program’s intake (March 2nd, 2020). Students and agents took the Co-op trial classes to experience one of our instructor’s teaching style and to learn the process to get a job in Vancouver.
We had classes at Cloud Nine College on February 24th to 27th, and we did live streaming on Instagram. More than 150 people watched our live classes on Instagram and received informative tips. It was a very short time, but our prospective students had an opportunity to think about their dreams, plans, careers, and life goals.
This trial class led by Leyla Tekul. Leyla Tekul holds a master’s degree from the University of British Columbia and has more than 15 years of teaching various English and Business Communication courses at various Colleges.
Leyla’s teaching philosophy is reflected in her dissertation paper “The role of Humour in Second Language Acquisition” which was also the topic of her successful and “smiling” conference in UBC.
Cloud Nine College started as a language training institution back in 2010 and it has now expanded into providing career training programs:
Hotel and Restaurant Management Co-op Diploma
Hotel and Restaurant Management Co-op Certificate
International Trade and Business Management Co-op Diploma
Professional Sales Co-op Certificate

About Career Training Programs
The Co-op programs are a structured method of combining classroom-based education with practical paid work experiences that are related to the student’s academic field. Cloud Nine College Co-op programs provide students with a solid foundation with practical skills and knowledge in the field of their study. They not only give students first-hand exposure to the real work industry while they study but also enable them to become more employable upon graduation.
Cloud Nine College co-op programs are reviewed and approved by the register of the Private Training Institution Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training of British Columbia:
