On June 10th, both the CEO of Cloud Nine College and the President of Concordia International APEC Center visited K-Beauty Association of Korea at the their head office in Seoul and had an official MOU signing ceremony amongst many principals of the association and held an introduction meeting followed by a Q&A session with many of the association’s principals and business partners.
K-Beuty is the biggest non-profit organization in Korea which has over 100,000 members made up of hair stylists, Skin care specialists, nail care artists, semi-permanent make-up artists and other Korean beauty related business owners. Regularly K-Beauty conducts its annual beauty competitions with over 8,000 participants and over 500 judges and 300 related business owners. K-beauty also has many partnerships with some of the biggest beauty product production companies specific to the unique industries including semi-permanent make-up products, skin and nail care products that are internationally regarded as one of the best in the world. With the global popularization of K-pop and K-dramas worldwide, K-Beauty plans to expand internationally with the partnership of Cloud Nine College and Concordia APEC Centre.
The MOU allows the parties to mutually promote cooperation and develop and exchange education, culture and research. The plan also allows CNC to implement and develop Korean beauty related programs in Canada whereby enabling Korean businesses and K-Beauty members to study and gain international experiences in North America. Cloud Nine College plans to develop new Co-op programs specializing in Korean beauty care courses with the aid of K-Beauty association members and many business owners. This is very significant as CNC is the sole exclusive education partner with K-Beauty and allows both parties to mutual benefit in many tangible ways.
