On March 29, 2022, the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) announced that British Columbia is providing post-secondary institutions (PSIs) with the essential supplies to prevent the spread of COVID, including hand sanitizer, gloves, and face masks. In addition, the BC Government will provide Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) kits to all PTIB institutions for free.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Public Health Services Authority (PHSA) facilitates the distribution of the said kits to PTIB institutions in BC. With the safety of its community members, Cloud Nine College immediately coordinated the delivery of the said kits. Once received, these will be made available for all CNC community members.
In the meantime, while public health does not require wearing masks in public indoor settings, CNC Administration has declared that wearing the mask will still be required inside the campus until April 30, 2022. According to the latest public health announcement, a COVID case is now treated like other respiratory illnesses. Also, as per the BC Centre for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, testing is available to eligible students, faculty, or staff in BC.
