CNC’s Mask Requirements on Campus

The mandate to wear masks in public indoor spaces was lifted on March 11, 2022, by the BC Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry. While this recent development implies that facemasks will be optional for the public in indoor settings, organizations can continue requiring mask-wearing on their premises. In this regard, the President of Cloud Nine College (CNC) announced that the school will continue with the current approach, requiring putting on masks on campus until April 30, 2022.

CNC is convinced that getting vaccinated against this virus can lower the risk of getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. The community members were highly encouraged to get vaccinated and have themselves tested if they believed they had contacted someone with the virus. Everyone was expected to continue to protect themselves and others from getting infected by still practicing safety guidelines against COVID-19.

CNC shall reinforce safety measures should there be an update on the public health guidance. For more information, please visit https://bit.ly/3IasH6C.
