Partner Grace Christian College Works Toward a
Fully CIC TESOL Teaching Force
Concordia International College in the Philippines partners with Grace Christian College (GCC) in developing and delivering programs for students and teachers through various on line programs . GCC President, Dr. James Tan and VPAA Zenaida Lumba are committed to the college mission of retaining highly qualified, diverse faculty and staff.
In its initial partnership, 16 GCC faculty and 3 students enrolled in Concordia’s TESOL course. GCC provided the use of the classrooms and computer facilities for the teachers and students while CIC provided the Canadian curricula in TESOL and TEC. The high encouragement and positive feedback from the GCC President Tan and the college’s managers were evidence of the success of everyone’s hard work and commitment to GCC excellence.
CIC Partners with Martinez Memorial College
who is now going international
One of the highlights of the 50th Founding Anniversary of Martinez Memorial College (MMC) is its academic partnership with Concordia- Philippines. On June 2012, MMC conducted the Dona Luz A. Martinez Memorial Lecture Series 2 to launch the Concordia-MMC partnership. The activity was headed by MMC Chief Operations Officer Dr. Elizabeth M. del Rio and Finance Officer Ms. Teresita M. Piscasio.
The mains speakers in that momentous event are Dr. Lilian M. Enriquez,
Education Specialist and Director of the Commission on Higher Education, National Capital Region, Philippines and Dr. Violeta L. Jerusalem, Concordia International College President.
The launching of this partnership was witnessed and well received by MMC
students ,faculty, and administrators around the theme “Trailblazing at 50 by Going International”.
